somebody is grieving today

somebody is grieving today

over a dead son or blighted crops

i spent my weekend in mourning

{as we all have a little bit to do for grief;

we all must take our turn.}

only a half filled sky

garden lost of its roses

beauty without its truth.

in six months

sorrow will strike me

the cause a boy or the neighbour's missing cat;

turning myself in and out.

whilst the mother who lost her son

sees sunshine for the first time in half a year.

the woe seems inescapable

but it will take time. time, time, time.
